BIOPOLYMERIC SLOW RELEASE FERTILIZERS

The present invention is a controlled release fertilizer prepared by blending granular fertilizer with biologically degradable polymer (Biopolymer). When such fertilizer is applied to the soil, rate controlled by the amount of thickness, chemical characteristics and permeability of the biopolymer; environmental conditions such as soil, air temperature, water availability, fertilizer solubility and microbial activity; and ratio of surface area to nutrients and others agriculturally beneficial materials.


The Biopolymeric Slow Release Fertilizers may include additional advantageous agents such as micro and macro nutrients and others agriculturally beneficial materials.
